Dr. Debra Lotstein is a trailblazer in pediatric palliative care and the founding director of the Division of Palliative Care at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Dr. Lotstein is also an Associate Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at Keck School of Medicine of USC. A 2017 Sojourn Scholar, she led a project that aims to maximize access to home-based hospice and palliative care programs for children with serious illness. Dr. Lotstein has been recognized as one of the Leaders of Influence: Top L.A. Doctors. Her dedication to improving care for children with serious illnesses and her leadership in palliative care have made her a respected and influential figure in the field.
